This is a new RME 2000 Series complete fixture.
This fixture is very rigid and designed with dissimilar metals to reduce vibrations so it works great with CBN and Carbide cutter inserts.
CBN inserts do not require coolant.
Carbide inserts work better with coolant.
CBN surfacing requires a very rigid, well designed holding fixture. This fixture works.
There is an eccentric cam on the head plate to adjust the X axis and an adjustable work support stand to adjust the Y axis.
You can install and level a cylinder head in five minutes. The roll over bar is a precision 2″ bar. The bar is made from high carbon steel that has been turned ground and polished. It is a precision 2″ diameter bar. It is 36″ long.
A heavy-duty adjustable work support assembly is included. This is a very heavy-duty holding fixture. A rigid fixture is very important in achieving the desired surface finish.
The head mounting plate is made from very high-quality aluminum and it was machined on a HAAS CNC machining center right here in the United States of America. The head plate dimensions are 26″ X 6″ X .750″.
All the studs, flange nuts and t-slot nuts are included.
